- An ETA lasts for 2 years or until your passport expires, whichever is sooner.
- Tourists may come to the UK for up to 6 months on each occasion.
- An ETA cannot be used to stay in the UK for longer than 6 months.
- Paid or unpaid work for a UK company or self-employment is prohibited, except permitted paid engagement or event work or work on the Creative Worker visa concession.
- An ETA cannot be used to live in the UK through frequent or successive visits.
- Travel must use the passport specified in the ETA application.
