The Next 10 Features on the Roadmap (And Why)

Here is what is coming next for Nowah, in priority order, with the user problem each one solves and the reasoning behind each decision. Full transparency.

The Next 10 Features We Are Building (And Why)

Full transparency. Here are the next ten features on our roadmap, ranked by priority, with the user problem each solves and the reasoning behind each decision.

1. Enhanced agent memory

Problem: The agent's preference learning is good but not yet great. After three conversations, it should know you deeply. Currently, it remembers broad preferences but misses specifics.

Solution: Richer preference extraction that captures not just categories but nuances. "Prefers hotels near water" not just "likes nice hotels."

2. Proactive price monitoring

Problem: Users want to know when prices drop on routes they care about. Currently, they have to check manually.

Solution: Background monitoring of watched routes with notifications when significant price drops occur.

3. Post-booking change management

Problem: Changing or cancelling a booking requires leaving the app and navigating airline or hotel customer service.

Solution: The agent handles modifications and cancellations within the conversation, executing changes on the user's behalf.

4. Activity and experience booking

Problem: Trips include more than flights and hotels. Activities, tours, and experiences are currently handled outside the app.

Solution: Integrated activity search and booking, recommended by the agent based on your destination, dates, and interests.

5. Calendar integration

Problem: The agent does not know when you are free. Proactive suggestions require awareness of your schedule.

Solution: Optional calendar connection that lets the agent identify potential travel windows and suggest trips accordingly.

6. Group trip coordination

Problem: Planning with multiple travelers is chaotic. Existing tools have no support for multi-person optimization.

Solution: Group trip flow where each traveler specifies preferences and the agent finds the optimal compromise.

7. Platform API (early access)

Problem: Other companies want to add AI travel capabilities to their products but do not want to build the infrastructure from scratch.

Solution: First API endpoints that let external developers embed Nowah's intelligence in their applications.

8. Ground transportation integration

Problem: Getting from airport to hotel is a gap in the trip planning flow. Users handle it separately.

Solution: Integrated ground transportation options presented as part of the trip plan, not a separate search.

9. Travel document management

Problem: Passport expiration, visa requirements, and vaccination records require manual tracking and checking.

Solution: Secure document storage with automatic validation against destination requirements.

10. Offline trip access

Problem: Users lose connectivity while traveling and cannot access their trip details.

Solution: Offline-capable trip view that caches essential information for access without internet.

The reasoning

Each feature was prioritized using our impact, effort, and vision alignment framework. Features one through three are the highest-impact items based on user feedback. Features four through six build toward the platform vision. Features seven through ten are quality-of-life improvements and expansion plays.

Expected timelines are quarterly, not date-specific. We have learned that honest uncertainty about delivery dates is better than false precision.
